About Prezi

With Prezi, we help you to deliver unmatched, immersive experiences over video for better meetings, deeper collaboration, and enhanced productivity.

Our flagship product, Prezi Video, brings your visuals on screen next to you while you present (unlike screen sharing, which hides you behind your slides).

Now that we’re all connecting remotely, Prezi Video is exactly what people need for more meaningful interactions with their audience.

Prezi Video works seamlessly with conferencing tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex, and is perfect for sales pitches, business meetings, training sessions, online classes, and more.

Designer templates and a massive image library for any topic make it easy to get started. Or, use the content you create using Prezi Present and Prezi Design, as well as your existing PowerPoint slides.

Videos can be streamed live or recorded to share asynchronously.

Founded in 2009, and with offices in San Francisco, Budapest, Riga, and Berlin, Prezi now fosters a community of over 100 million users around the world. Our investors include Accel Partners, Spectrum Equity, and TED conferences.

At Prezi, we celebrate the diversity of our customers and our employees. We employ people from all backgrounds to build a product for everyone.

We’re on a mission to reinvent how people share knowledge, tell stories, and inspire their audiences to act. If you care about developer productivity, love optimizing systems, and enjoy supporting your peers, we encourage you to apply!

About the Job

We’re looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to join our platform engineering team to help us continuously improve the inner development loop and platform capabilities for our engineers. Your mission will be to make the development experience at Prezi smoother, faster, and more enjoyable—ultimately helping us ship better products, faster.

As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will focus on optimizing tools, workflows, and infrastructure that support our engineers in building high-quality software.

As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will:

  • Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows and a shrinking Jenkins fleet, enhancing performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify productivity bottlenecks and deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and developer tooling using Python, Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
  • Implement observability best practices and integrate metrics to monitor and improve developer workflows.
  • Advocate for software development lifecycle best practices and foster engineering excellence across teams.
  • Partner with SREs, developers, and platform teams to streamline the deployment, testing, and development processes.
  • Explore and possibly define metrics for measuring engineering efficiency to guide strategic improvements.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD systems and experience maintaining or improving pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
  • Previous experience as a software developer and a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.
  • A track record of identifying and solving developer productivity issues with scalable solutions.
  • Knowledge of observability practices and tools (e.g., logging, metrics, tracing).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across team boundaries.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in defining and tracking engineering efficiency metrics.
  • Familiarity with internal developer platform concepts or experience contributing to platform engineering initiatives.
